The room is nicely decorated, has a comfortable bed, central heating, and all the amenities needed like an iron and ironing board, and an electronic key card.

we had a pleasant stay at this fantastic and incredibly beautiful hotel. this property was located in a riverside area short walk to the brasserie style restaurant, coppa. furthermore, opposite the theatre we had tickets for.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

The service was good, no complaints.

The staff here is professional and the place is kept fairly clean.

I love the tranquillity that the Great House at Sonning has to offer in an area which is a very busy business orientated region.

Possibly the best and very enjoyable stay for 2 nights. Competent, very friendly people working here. - Pretty building and rooms with an amazing spacious bathroom. - Location - perfect and magnificent next to the side restaurant, the garden, and all the boats.

The staff at this hotel went much more than the extra mile. Polite, helpful, professional - incredible. Stay here, you will not be dissapointed.

I had to leave and go home, I didnt like that!

The front desk and housekeeping staff were delightful. All other staff was not. The breakfast staff & bartenders were almost rude ~ acted like waiting on you was a bother. The bar was about the only place the internet worked yet rarely was anyone there to get you something to drink.

The Great House made our trip to Reading really enjoyable. Everything was superb during our 2-night stay. - Our room had many thoughtful extra touches that we appreciated.

The staff here are really great. I made a mistake with my booking and they ammended this for me without charging, something they were within their rights to do. This is a very friendly and very well run hotel and I gladly recomend it.
